DEA SDK

The DEA SDK tells your app whether a session comes from a real person. It observes how the user interacts with your app — touches, pointer movement, scrolling, device motion — and scores the session on the device. Your app reads the verdict at the moment it makes a decision: sign-up, checkout, claiming a reward, serving an ad.

Choose your platform

Platform Package Install 0.19.0 Guide

Each guide's Install section says exactly what is published. What else differs between platforms is on Going to production.

Before you start

You need an appId and an appKey for each app. DEA issues them; see Accounts and keys.

How it works

  1. Initialize the SDK once, when your app starts.
  2. The SDK captures interaction in the background. There is nothing to wrap or register.
  3. The SDK scores the session on the device as the user interacts.
  4. Your app reads the classification with getClassification() whenever it needs one: human, bot, undetermined, or insufficient while there is not enough evidence yet. The read is local: it makes no network request.

How scoring works explains each step.

Use cases

Every platform guide has the same sections, so you can switch platforms and stay on the same page.

Use case What it does Pages
Human Scoring Read whether the session comes from a real person at a decision point Human Scoring, User Consent, Sensitive Screens, Custom Events, Sessions
Attest Register the device's signing key with DEA Attest
Ads Attach signed proof of a real person to ad impressions and clicks Ads
